Done Deal: El Bilal Touré Joins Parma on Loan with Buy Option
El Bilal Touré, an striker for Atalanta, is scheduled to undergo his medical examinations with Parma on Thursday. The deal is structured as a loan agreement with a potential obligation to purchase for a total of €11.5 million, plus additional bonuses.
Multiple reliable sources, including Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia, and Fabrizio Romano, have confirmed that both clubs have reached an agreement, and personal terms have also been settled.
The medical tests are planned for tomorrow, after which Touré will officially sign his contract.
Touré's Move to Parma
Reports indicate that the initial loan period will be for one season, with a fee of €1.5 million. Following this, Parma will have an option to buy Touré for an additional €10 million. This option will transform into a mandatory purchase if Parma secures promotion to Serie A and Touré meets certain appearance criteria for the club.
Atalanta will also retain a 15% share of any future transfer fee received from Touré's sale.
Touré, aged 24, was Atalanta's most expensive acquisition in their history, joining from UD Almeria in July 2023 for a reported €30.2 million. Unfortunately, he sustained a significant injury shortly after his arrival and was unable to showcase his full potential during his time in Bergamo.
He previously had loan spells at VfB Stuttgart and Besiktas, but in total, he made only 17 competitive appearances for Atalanta, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
