According to reports from Turkey, Romelu Lukaku has once again been presented as a transfer target for Fenerbahce. As the striker seeks a new team for the upcoming 2026-27 season, interest from Saudi Arabian clubs is also reportedly growing.

Fenerbahce Re-Engages with Lukaku Interest

Lukaku, 33, is entering the final year of his contract with Napoli. Following a personally underwhelming 2025-26 campaign, he is not anticipated to be Massimiliano Allegri's primary striker choice for the next season. Italian media suggests Napoli is open to accepting offers as low as €10 million for the experienced forward, but a departure from the Stadio Maradona has yet to materialize.

In recent days, MLS club Atlanta United had been linked with the all-time leading scorer for Belgium. However, fresh reports on Friday claim that Fenerbahce has again been approached regarding Lukaku's availability. TRT Spor journalist Doruk Tecimer reports that Lukaku has been "offered" to the Turkish club, a situation that is not entirely new. He was reportedly proposed to the Istanbul giants during the January transfer window and again approximately a month ago.

Currently, no formal negotiations have taken place between Fenerbahce, Napoli, or the player's representatives. Friday's updates further suggest that while Turkey is a significant possibility for Lukaku, he is also evaluating potential offers from Saudi Arabia.
