Napoli Present Third Kit in Deep Red for 2026/27 Season, Celebrating Club Centenary and 1987 Scudetto Triumph
Napoli has revealed its distinctive third kit for the 2026/27 season, a design that pays homage to the legendary jersey worn during their 1987 Scudetto victory through its deep red hue.
The Partenopei launched the new kit in partnership with EA7, the sportswear division of the renowned Emporio Armani fashion brand. This release coincides with the club's centenary year, having been founded in August 1926, a significant milestone reflected in the choice of this particular jersey.
Napoli's Third Kit Symbolizes Heritage and Future
According to a statement, the choice of red is also a nod to another momentous anniversary: it marks 40 years since Diego Armando Maradona's iconic team clinched their inaugural Serie A title in the 1986/87 season. Furthermore, the vibrant red is interpreted as representing the 'fiery summit' of Mount Vesuvius, the imposing volcano that overlooks the serene blue waters of the Bay of Naples.
The kit features a ribbed collar and sleeve cuffs adorned with white and light blue striped accents. Notably, the club and EA7 logos are presented in an inverted orientation.
The campaign video accompanying the launch was directed by Gabriele Savino and produced by Luca Gardella.
