Venezia Secures Moroccan Defender Redouane Halhal from KV Mechelen
Venezia has successfully finalized the signing of Moroccan international defender Redouane Halhal from KV Mechelen. The deal is reportedly valued at €5 million, with additional performance-based bonuses included. Halhal is scheduled to undergo his medical examinations on Saturday to complete the transfer, having already arrived in Italy.
The 23-year-old central defender, who can also play as a full-back, was eager for a new challenge in a different league as his contract with KV Mechelen was set to expire at the end of the current season.
