Juventus is on the verge of securing the permanent transfer of Randal Kolo Muani, according to club chief executive Giovanni Carnevali. Carnevali also provided updates on potential moves for Kerim Alajbegović and the situation surrounding Dušan Vlahović.

Speaking at a La Stampa event, Carnevali confirmed that the protracted negotiations for Kolo Muani are in their final stages. He stated, "We are closing the Kolo Muani deal now; it’s a negotiation that has been going on for a long time." He recalled the initial perception upon his arrival at Juventus, noting, "When I arrived at Juve, I read in the papers that it was already a done deal, but that wasn’t the case. There were difficulties, and we had to repair relations with Paris Saint-Germain, fixing the previous problems. We’re finalising it in these hours and we’re in the concluding phase."

Carnevali Cautious on Alajbegović Progress

Regarding Bosnian winger Alajbegović, whose impressive performances have attracted attention, Carnevali adopted a more reserved tone. "With him, we’re a bit further behind, but we’re working on it," he admitted. He elaborated on the potential investment, saying, "It’s a significant investment, but a club like Juve also has to think about the future. He’s a class-of-2007 and has the characteristics we’re looking for."

The Juventus CEO also addressed questions concerning Dušan Vlahović, whose future at the club remains a topic of speculation. Carnevali was keen to clarify his own involvement, stating, "I’ve never met him. I know Juve made him an offer that wasn’t accepted. I’ve always made myself available, but I’ve never had any meetings."

With the Kolo Muani transfer appearing imminent and discussions for Alajbegović ongoing, Carnevali's first transfer window at the helm of Juventus is shaping up to be a busy one.
