Spanish media report that Endrick and Real Madrid had a loan agreement for Roma, but Jose Mourinho's intervention altered the plan. Roma now leads the race for his potential January signing.

The 20-year-old forward is reportedly growing impatient with his limited game time at the Bernabeu. He had previously agreed to a six-month loan to Olympique Lyonnais in January 2026.

During that loan spell, Endrick scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 21 appearances. This performance earned him a spot in Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Roma had sought to bring him in during the summer, offering him a chance to play in Serie A and the Champions League under Gian Piero Gasperini.

According to Diario AS, all terms were finalized and ready for signature when Mourinho stepped in, persuading Endrick to stay in Madrid.

This decision has not benefited Endrick, as he has only played a mere four minutes in LaLiga this season.

Sources now indicate he has run out of patience and will push for a January transfer. Roma is in a prime position to pursue him again, though they face competition from other top clubs.

AC Milan is among those interested, with rumors suggesting they will also make an inquiry.
