Dayot Upamecano, suspended after his red card against Italy, will not play in France's final Nations League match against Belgium on Monday. Belgium will also face challenges with key players out.

Both France and Belgium will have players missing for their rematch on Monday. A week after France's 0-1 victory in Brussels, the teams will face each other again at the Stade de France for the fourth and final game of this initial period under coach Zidane.

Coach Zidane will be without his defensive leader, Dayot Upamecano, for this fixture. The Bayern Munich player received a second yellow card against Italy on Friday (1-1) for a foul on Moise Kean in the 85th minute, resulting in an automatic suspension for the next game.

Belgium will also be weakened. Kevin De Bruyne, who shone by scoring two brilliant goals (his 39th and 40th for the national team), received a yellow card that will keep him out of the match against France at the Stade de France. Captain Youri Tielemans faces the same penalty, having also been cautioned on Friday in Liège, disqualifying him from playing against the French team.

First Place on the Line

With seven points, France leads Group 1 of League A. However, they must perform significantly better on Monday against Belgium, who are second with six points. A win would end this initial period under Zidane on a positive note and help them move past the draw against Italy.
