The American dominance at the U17 Women's World Cup continues. In Brno, Czech Republic, the United States successfully defended their throne, clinching their fourth consecutive trophy in the category by defeating Spain in the final with a score of 82-73. This marks their seventh victory in eight editions of the tournament.

Spain, led by their emerging star Isabel Hernandez (who set a competition record with 8 steals, alongside 28 points on 12/29 shooting, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists), put up a strong fight and remained tied with Team USA until just over five minutes remaining in the game (70-70). However, the US team, featuring Micah Ojo (20 points), Nation Williams (10 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks), and their teammates, ultimately prevailed in the final stretch.

Ivanna Wilson Manyacka Named MVP
