This is the second time AS Cuines has reached the 4th round, and the first time advancing to the 5th," commented Stephen Thomasset, the AS Cuines La Chambre coach, to Savoie News.
Having entered the Coupe de France in the second round, the Saint-Étienne de Cuines-based club first beat Modane (D3) 3-2, then Club Sportif des 4 Routes (D2) 4-1. In the next round, the amateur club might face another amateur team, as Ligue 3 teams begin their participation in the 5th round.
