Juventus and Bologna have reportedly reached a verbal agreement for the transfer of Colombian international Jhon Lucumi. The deal is valued at €20 million, encompassing performance-related bonuses and add-ons.
Following earlier reports of clubs moving closer to an agreement and a new meeting to discuss terms, the details have now been settled. Fabrizio Romano, Sport Mediaset, and Sportitalia have confirmed the breakthrough.
Lucumi Ready for Juventus Transfer
The player himself had already agreed personal terms with Juventus, with an expected salary of €2.5 million per season plus bonuses, and was keen on moving to Turin. His strong desire to join Juventus was instrumental in securing the deal for €20 million, a reduction from Bologna's initial asking price of €25 million and the defender's release clause of €28 million.
Jhon Lucumi is anticipated to undergo his medical examinations over the weekend to complete the transfer. His current contract with Bologna was set to expire at the end of the season.
